The Chasco Fiesta began on March 25, 2008 and will continue through April 6, 2008 in New Port Richey, Fl. with a Native Ame­rican festival, carnival and music every day. Other events include a downtown parade starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 and a boat parade at 1 p.m. April 5, 2008 on the Pithlachascotee River. The festival events began at 5 p.m. March 25, 2008 and Mon.-Wed.; 9 a.m. Fri.; and 8 a.m. Sat.-Sun. at Sims Park, Orange Lake and other downtown New Port Richey areas. Closing times vary. Most activities are free, but there are some fees for rides and food.
