The city of Tarpon Springs will hold the Patriotic Picnic in the Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 4, 2008 in Craig Park. The Dapper Dan Band will be there for the celebration. There will be a kids water area, so make sure you wear swimsuits and bring towels! Free food, game area with horse shoes, badminton and volleyball. Not to mention the hula hoop contests, watermelon spitting seed contest, sack races, and other events! You must register for the outrigger boat race, teams of five or more.
